Music video for K-Pop star, DZW and his alter ego - Wowkie Zhang!
Working alongside Creative Director Kevin McRae, Director Jean-Charles Charavin and the awesome team at Revenant I was tasked with designing the various environments throughout the film. We developed a concept that transformed the artist into a bespoke avatar, taking inspiration from Bauhaus aesthetics, brutalist architecture and children’s toys to create a vivid and energetic piece.

The biggest challenge throughout this project was balancing the various primary colours used in the environments and making sure that they didn’t detract from the Wowkie character. I introduced metals, woods and patterns to break up the pallet and create room for the character to breathe as well as retaining the sheer simplicity of the Bauhaus style.
